Salesforce’s Winter ’26 Release (258) officially goes live on October 13, 2025, bringing major enhancements to Revenue Cloud. With Release Notes published August 27, sandbox upgrades starting September 6, and main release weekends on September 20, October 4, and October 11, teams have had time to explore and prepare.
This release adds important improvements to the Quote-to-Cash process, product catalog management, and asset handling in Revenue Cloud, plus new AI features.
Let’s break down the most impactful features shaping CRM and monetization this season.
With Salesforce Go, you can quickly find and manage all Revenue Cloud features in one place. Just open it from the Setup menu, search for Revenue Cloud, and explore grouped tools like sales transactions, product catalogs, and pricing. You can also dive into specific features like quotes, orders, and asset lifecycle management. Helpful guides and resources are built in to make setup smooth and fast.
Salesforce makes it easier to manage your product catalogs with tools that help both admins and customers. Customers can find products faster using conversational search, dynamic filters, and translated details. Admins can organize catalogs with subclassifications, sync constraints between systems, and keep categories in the right order. Features like real-time validation, caching, and multilingual support make catalog setup more reliable and efficient.
Pricing is now smarter with automatic CPI updates that keep prices aligned with market changes. You can manage multiple formulas and variables in one place, making setup easier. For large orders, Delta Pricing recalculates only changed items, saving time. The renamed Activate Price Waterfall still gives full visibility into pricing logic, and new tools help you do even more with your pricing strategy.
Offer better deals with commitment discounts that reward customers who buy more. You can set up tiered pricing based on quantity or spend, and track usage to apply the right discount. Group rates across accounts, contracts, or custom setups, and manage everything easily in the Manage Usage Resources screen.
The Product Configurator is now easier to use with clearer names and smarter tools. Build rules using Visual Builder without writing code, and use ramp deals to manage subscription products over time. You can import product data, convert old rules to CML code, and even show recommended products during quotes. With non-blocking UI, users can make changes quickly without waiting for system updates.
Sales reps can now work faster with new quote actions that simplify deal creation. Break down long deals with ramp segments, group products better, and turn one quote into multiple orders. Import quote lines from files, preview approval steps, and manage discounts, taxes, and asset transfers all in one place. Everything is designed to make quoting smoother and faster.
You can now schedule order fulfillments using custom dates, making it easier to meet customer needs. The Dynamic Revenue Orchestrator (DRO) handles asset transfers and organizes orders with custom scopes like location or time. Define technical product attributes for more control, and use Submit Order with Validation to avoid update conflicts. You can also customize DRO objects to match your business processes.
Make billing more transparent with Consumption Management, which shows usage, overages, and prepaid amounts clearly on invoices. You can now turn usage into tokens and currency, and view all data in one place for accounts, assets, and contracts. Experience Cloud users now have access to Usage Management tools and APIs, making it easier to manage data across your organization.
Give customers a better experience with self-service billing—they can view invoices, download PDFs, and pay online. You can generate invoice numbers, send bulk emails, and customize billing profiles with more details. Create accurate invoices for group ramp deals and billing amendments, handle extra charges with debit memos, and connect to third-party payment gateways. Track accounting details like journal entries and foreign exchange gains, and automate key billing tasks.
Improve Microsoft 365 security by managing user extensions without needing admin roles or write access. This reduces setup time and helps stay compliant. Keep contract data accurate with Data True-up, which syncs values between documents and records while keeping redlines. Use Salesforce Contracts features in community licenses to make collaboration with partners and customers easier and more cost-effective.
Design documents faster with Context Services, which pull data from Salesforce or JSON sources without needing OmniStudio Data Mappers. This makes template creation more flexible and improves performance. Now, Digital Experience (DE) users can access Document Generation with base community licenses, making it easier to collaborate and scale across teams.
